BIM Section Head

Key responsibilities

• Review and update the Atrium BIM Manual and processes to reflect international standards and best practice.
• Lead BIM Manual implementation sessions at the commencement of each new project.
• Define the BIM scope of work and develop the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for each project.
• Develop engineering plans, propose resources, and define hardware and software requirements for BIM users.
• Audit BIM production, monitor quality standards and progress, and review reports from project BIM coordinators.
• Ensure implementation of the Common Data Environment (CDE) across projects.
• Support BIM users with complex issues and advanced tasks including visualization, 4D scheduling and 5D cost management.
• Participate in BIM client agreements and evaluate BIM service providers.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in the construction field and 10+ years of experience in BIM.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Excellent experience in Revit.
• Very good experience in Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD and Lumion.
• Very good English and Arabic reading, writing and speaking skills.
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office and very good use of internet tools and browsers.
• Good communication, time management, attention to detail, troubleshooting and negotiation skills.
